Biography

Born 1971 in Klagenfurt, Austria

First piano lessons at 8, soon started playing in various bands;

in 1994 jazz diploma (jazz piano) at the Kärntner Landeskonservatorium in Klagenfurt

2000 Master of Music in The Hague, Netherlands (studied 1994-2000 at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, teachers included Rob van Bavel, Rob van Krefeld and Frans Elsen)

during the studies in The Hague also three years of jazz singing with Rachel Gould and Jeanne Lee.

 

Since 2000 back in Austria, where I was also teaching at a hight school and at the Carinthian conservatory, but quit that again in 2002. As a keyboard-player, composer and producer I´m working on diverse projects, from arranging and recording music for pre-school kids, to writing and performing theater music. Working mainly with the Tonč Feinig Trio (with Klemens Marktl, Robert Jukič) and with Tonč Unrasiert, the new band where I´m the lead vocalist!

Tonč (a slovenian nick name for Tony, pronounced Tonch) played and plays concerts/sessions with following artists:
