Originally planned as a solo album by Tonč Feinig, Folk Song ultimately emerged as a duo CD – inspired by the extraordinary musical connection with saxophonist Edgar Unterkirchner and driven by their joint performance at Carinthia JA 2020. The duo decided to further explore their sonic chemistry in the studio – the result is fourteen atmospheric folk song recordings for piano and saxophone.
